When I went to collect after a recall, engine management light was on and I couldn't collect car as it needed to be kept in for further investigation. Completely inconvenient. Mini desk said faults were coming up and it needed to stay in to be fixed.

I was, for the first time ever, told that the useable lifespan of the bonnet struts had expired. They have a 5 year lifespan, apparently. I did mention that my car had been at Lloyds several times since it was 5 years old. Never mentioned previously!

Reception staff very courteous. Repair was done but sensor hadn't been reset so warning light was still on and I had to wait another 35 minutes to get this done. Just a shame this wasn't checked before collection .

Very personal touches from welcome video to collecting the car on time which has never happened with my previous dealers also going through the door to uncovering our new beautiful car
